Why is the foil on my pods now flat and not domed?


It's great you've noticed that the pods are no longer puffed or stuffed looking!

We've decided to let the beans 'degas' (which is a natural process that occurs after roasting where the CO2 escapes) after they are ground for use in our pods.

It's normally what you do for Espresso, but as our beans are so fresh, it doesn't give them a chance to degas if you use them straight away in a machine so it's what we worked out will be best for pods too! This will avoid the pressure build up in your machine which you may have noticed results in you losing some of the coffee.
