Coffee scores and speciality coffee

  • Updated

To be considered speciality, a coffee has to be awarded a score of at least 80/100 by the Speciality Coffee Association of America (SCAA).

However, a high scoring coffee may not necessarily appeal to the regular coffee lover. For example, our Micro-Lots often contain unique and unusual tasting notes that can take some time to get accustomed to.

That’s why we don’t recommend choosing a coffee solely based on the score alone. We’re proud to say that all Our Coffee is speciality grade, so we’re confident you find a flavour and roast that you’ll love.
