Our pods are crafted from aluminium – a material that's not only highly effective at protecting the coffee’s flavour and aroma, but also infinitely recyclable.
How to recycle your pods:
Empty: once you've brewed, remove the lid, and rinse out the coffee grounds (these make great compost for your garden!).
Stack: flatten or stack the empty pods to save space.
Recycle: place them in your standard household recycling bin.
Why aluminium over compostable?
We chose aluminium because it's the most reliable way to ensure our packaging doesn't end up in a landfill.
While compostable pods are an interesting innovation, they often require industrial composting facilities or specific food-waste collections that aren't yet available to everyone in the UK.
By using aluminium, we provide a solution that works with the recycling infrastructure already in your home, so the material can be repurposed time and time again.
