Once it’s roasted, coffee is a fresh product. To protect the natural flavours and aromas the grower conjures from the bean, it’s key to keep it from oxygen as much as you can.
We recommend storing your coffee in a cool, dry place. An airtight canister is ideal for this, but if you don’t have either of these, just make sure to keep it out of sunlight.
A note on the fridge
We advise against storing coffee in the fridge. The moisture and fluctuating temperatures can damage the beans, and coffee’s porous nature means it will quickly absorb the scents of other foods.
